‘Lift Kodla’ vs ‘Sanchari’

Out of four films announced for this week two films ‘Shambo Shankara’ and ‘Onti Mane’ deferred the release and it is fight between a comedy flick and a musical thriller – Lift Kodla and Sanchari.

The producers of ‘Lift Kodla’ and ‘Sanchari’ are both from new producers Shanker Reddy and Lakshmaiah, Ramappa and Prabhakar respectively. ‘Lift Kodla’ is inspired from Telugu film ‘Mee Shreyabilashi’ while ‘Sanchari’ is a straight film.

Both the films are carrying one major advantage before the release. ‘Lift Kodla’ trump card is the presence of famous comedy heroes Jaggesh and his sibling equally famous Komal Kumar. It is about living life but not losing life the film ‘Lift Kodla’ focuses. In ‘Sanchari’ a criminal Raj falls in love with a beautiful Biaenca Desai has been popular because of its songs that are on top of the chart even before the release of the film.

CMR Productions Shanker Reddy’s maiden venture ‘Lift Kodla’ boasts of the presence of Karnataka Information Minister Khatta Subramania Naidu. Shashikumar, Archana Gupta, Raju Thali Kote, Killer Venkatesh, Kishore, Shobaraj, V Manohar along with Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila and Bank Janardhan to tickle the funny bones. Ashok Kashyap directed the film and also wielded the camera. Ramnarayan has penned the dialogues and V Manohar has scored the music for ‘Lift Kodla’,

DR Enteprises ‘Sanchari’ by Kiran Govi, who gave a moderate musical film ‘Payana’, is in his second film direction. Vijay Mohan is the cameraman and Arjun has scored the music for the songs of Dr Nagendra Prasad, Jayanth Kaikini and Ramnarayan have penned the songs.

‘Galiye Nodu Baa Deepadha Narthana…’ has been a tremendous hit already. Dilipraj, Rangayana Raghu, Subbaraju, Bullet Prakash, Dharma, Satyajith, Aravind, Nagara Nagaraj, Ramesh Babu, Shashikala, Ranadheera Venkatesh are also in the cast of this criminal love story film ‘Sanchari’.
